The place is perfect for a one night stay to enjoy the Fuji area. The capsule was surprisingly really comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and the shower was great. The location is also very good, just behing Fuji-Q Highland Park and with a bus station just a few meters away. The best part is the staff, very helpful and lovely people that help us a lot throughtout our stay.

Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Right behind FujiQ Highland. Great place to stay if you’re on a budget and wants to spend a day at the amusement park. Tip: buy ticket at the front desk to get 1000yen discount/pax (cheaper than Klook/entrance fee) and get to enter the park 15mins earlier as hotel guest. Extremely clean and comfortable. Love the amenities in the shared toilets (all Shiseido brand). Had a great time in our first capsule hotel experience.

The capsules are much bigger than we expected, did not feel cramped at all. The facilities are clean and there are plent of toilets and showers (which are also more spacious than your average Japanese shower). It‘s right around the corner to Fuji Q station, which was very convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop and has a great view of the lake and Mt Fuji. The restaurant Konami next to it serves great Japanese meals. The breakfast was very Japanese but I enjoyed it very much. They gave a pretty good breakfast spread. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a good place to stay with my dog - they provide you a dog bed, bowls and toilet stuff. Located in a quiet area of the lake which I really liked and enjoyed the traditional Japanese houses around. Walking distance to various places to eat, convenient stores and attractions like Yagizaki Park. The person in receptions was friendly and helpful. I think it’s a good value for money! I’m hoping to go back.

This was by far the best hotel that I stayed in Japan. It's not a low-budget place, but for your (still reasonable) money, you get the best service, comfy room, lovely onsen and kind and helpful staff. The hotel has vending machines, and if you want to order a takeaway dinner and don't speak Japanese, the receptionists will help you. There is also a nice lobby where you can taste Japanese wines. If I ever have a chance to return to Kawaguchiko, I'll also be back in this hotel!

We were amazed by this hostel! For this incredibly cheap price we got traditional Japanese-style room, very big and clean, with all facilities (the only thing disappointed us is the lack of the iron), plus they gave us Kimonos! there is small onsen, that included to the price as well! And from the window we could see Fuji!! The stuff was amazing! Super welcoming, kind and friendly. In the end of our trip the owner even drove us to the station, as it was late and cold. I have never been more satisfied by hostel than at that time!

Very lovely team who runs this Hotel. Great service and very friendly. The picked me up and dropped me off at the train station for free they helped me with my list rental bike key. The location is also convenient. It is very old, so don't expect modern rooms. It has his Charme with music studio included and many magic memories. Clean and cheap. I would stay again there.
