The New Hobbit Hotel Rooms, capsule hotel in Halifax

At the capsule hotel, each room is equipped with a desk, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. Rooms have a kettle, while some rooms are equipped with a balcony and others also offer city views. Guest rooms include a wardrobe.

This was a great place to stay with great views. The porridge and croissants were a great touch, as were the toiletries. It was less than £5 for a taxi to Sowerby Bridge and it was a fast service. Having a brew looking out on the balcony was great. I will be staying again.

    This is no-frills, budget accommodation in Halifax town centre. Well located close to the station and numerous restaurants. The hotel is a bit scruffy in places, but the room was clean and there was plenty of hot water and electric sockets. Breakfast choices: simple continental or cooked. Staff very friendly and helpful - thank you. Note: parking is now £5/night, not free. Park in the little car park in Alfred Street East, not in the nearby Eureka! car park.
