Looking for a capsule hotel?

Developed in Japan, these cheap 'pod' hotels are a novelty for any traveller. With rows of small single bed enclosed capsules, accommodation is basic and intended to be overnight. There is separate storage for luggage and gender-separate communal bathrooms — some capsule hotels also have a sentō, a Japanese bath house, often for male guests only.

Never had stayed in a capsule hotel, I ended up spending the remainder of my time in them ( same company owns three hotels in different provinces of Prague, they were cosy and definitely worth it. was on a budget but couldn’t stand a multi bed room in a hostel, make sure your phone works as entrance to capsule and main door is via Wi-Fi from your phone from the link they send you and there are no staff to help.

Absolutely top choice for a stay in Prague. The facilities were really nice and clean. Our dorm was large and comfortable, with its own bathroom. The bunk beds were also really comfortable, with nice privacy curtains and an individual wall socket. Everyone is assigned a large lockable locker, with plenty of space to store things. The staff were lovely. Super friendly and helpful. The location could not be improved upon. It's two minutes from the old town centre. Will definitely be my first choice when I'm next in Prague.

Great location and in walking distance to everywhere. Staff are very friendly. Breakfast was good overall. All your drinks are included here, but we are not heavy drinkers. Mini fridge in room was great. They organize tours and transfers too. Uber airport is convenient and cheaper but we used the hotel transfer and it was great. There is an elevator in the hotel but stairs are easy to use.

A locking system is really convenient, I don’t have to carry any keys or something, I can just open my capsule and doors with my phone. They also provide you with a fresh towel and a hairdryer in the bathroom area. Kitchen is clean, but it is really small. Price is also nice. If you are not that sensitive to sanitary things I described (or if they would be fixed), it could be an okay place to stay as it is one of the cheapest. I would recommend to take waterproof slippers or crocs, that would make your stay more comfortable.

conveniently located near Metro, even room towards railtracks was quiet enough. Room was equipped with all essentials, bathroom clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was plenty and diverse, vending machine supported basics during day/night, small shoppingmall nearby provided everything else.

The hostel had a really lovely welcoming vibe. All staff at the reception desk were really friendly and happy to help with any question. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, and I liked the privacy curtains around the bunk beds. The WiFi was good, much stronger than most hostels. Kitchen and lounge areas were nicely decorated and well equipped. There was a socket and reading light right next to all beds. The location was also great, right in the heart of the old town.

For a budget option, I was very impressed. The location - right outside a metro station, was extremely convenient. Check-in was fast and efficient despite my getting there at nearly midnight, the staff were polite and friendly, the room exceeded my expectations and the breakfast was also very nice. Would stay again.

This is a nice hostel for a quick and budget trip to Prague, located close to everything worth visiting. You get the usual bunk bed (the lower one has a privacy curtain which is very convenient and toughtful) and shared bathroom/kitchen. It was in quite a satisfactory cleanliness state for a hostel, including the bathrooms. You can get towels, bed linen, etc. at the reception, but be aware that you must make a refoundable deposit.
