Well set up with a solar powered charging point for devices etc and with barbecue facilities. We loved the outdoor bathtub, hammock and swing area. The compost toilet was very clean. Overall a great experience.

We loved the quirkiness of the trailer and all the retro facilities and colours - you really feel you're back in the 50s. The bed was very comfortable and the separate bathroom was more than adequate. The outside decking was spacious and a great place to sit back and relax and if you're lucky (as we were) spot kiwi in the garden below. The centre of Russell is about a 15/20 minute walk away though we were lazy and took the car as the trailer is situated at the top of a steep hill. We spent five weeks in NZ and Stella was definitely in the Top 3 of the places we stayed.

Less than a minute drive from our location to where we caught our boat. Accommodation was excellent. Facilities were clean and had everything we needed. Shared Shower and toilet facilities but was very clean. Owner super helpful and friendly. Not a problem taking our own bedding.

The campground features a sun terrace and a children's playground. I remember this place ages ago - new owners done so much work here! We had a glamping tent booked, but due to bad weather conditions they gave us a free upgrade to Zen cabin. The cabin was so good, that we decided to spend some extra money and stay for one more night. You can also book a spa with ocean view and a barrel sauna for 45 minutes. Really an amazing place to relax. We can't wait to stay here again to watch the sunrise! Campground facilities also look great. Walk distance to Dive Tatapouri.

The property is close to Saturday farmers market and a supermarket. Absolutely everything excellent. We loved mostly the high matras and the beautiful view from the balcony. A bonus really appreciated was the electrical grill outside.
