El Tránsito
Boasting a garden and a terrace, Palapa Hostel features accommodation in El Tránsito with free WiFi and sea views. It is situated 500 metres from El Transito Beach and offers a shared kitchen. The campground has family rooms. The staff is so friendly and helpful. It’s a 5 min walk from the beach which is nice to experience a bit of the little town. If you’re lucky you can see a baseball game on Sunday. An amazing pupusa place a block away. Equipped kitchen, drinking water, good wifi, and fans for when the heat gets really bad. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed it a lot. It’s more rustic, so you should be okay with composting toilets, climbing ladders, and mosquito nets.
The lodge offers amazing views of sunsets, a 15km long beach which is almost always completely empty, and amazing cabins directly on the beach with a view of the Pacific ocean. The menu is amazing, especially against the background of the unique location of the lodge; the chefs in the kitchen were very great. The ride to the lodge with a horse carriage is another very special experience.
Close to the beach, good price and the volunteers were all really friendly and helpful.
I had an amazing stay. The staff was very polite and always ready to help. The hotel rooms were very clean and so was the shared space. Really enjoyed my time at their nice pool. The overall vibe of the hotel is one not to miss!
We had an awesome time. It was our last place before we get back to home. We wanted to relax and chill, so Jakes on the beach was perfect! Very nice people and the rooms are very clean. Perfect place at the beach!
Room was very clean and a good size, we went for a room without aircon but it had 3 fans so was still cool. The staff were helpful. There are a couple of sunloungers and direct access to the beach. It is near to a number of restaurants. Good value breakfast each morning.
Made to feel right at home. Very chilled couple who when you first get there tell you to treat it like your home. And they make you feel it too. Great location away from the main town but only a five minute walk along the beach into town. Great facilities and very clean. Worth the visit and can't wait to go back.
Amazing Hotel right at the beach, we had a beautiful rooms, very clean and amazing view. Breakfast very generous (especially compared to the average nica acommodation) and lovely staff always attentive and friendly!
The staff are amazing. Very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of information about the area and arranged a trip for us Nothing was too much trouble. Basic room but very clean. Good Breakfast. Lovely pool area, right onto the beach. Great place to chill. Highly recommended.
