We really enjoyed our stay!!In the end it felt like family and it was very hard to leave.Awesome location and very quet place with birds songs.it is a better place to rest.Isuru arranged a safari for us to visit the Udawalawe national park.Also it was a great experience.we had a fantastic big breakfast after our safari tour and our dinner also was great.They arranged sri lankan rice and Curies for us.Isuru's mother is best cooker.It was the best dinner in my life . finally we highly recommend this place to feel natural life with paddy fields view.

The campground is a 30-minute drive from the main entrance of the park and a 45-minute drive from the Elephant transit home. Colombo is approximately 101 mi away while Bandaranaike International Airport is 111 mi from the airport. Friendly staff, clean camp, and excellent amenities. Highly recommended

Located in a precious ecosystem and very well maintained/accommodation facilities. The staff is very helpful. Asanka helped us book a safari at a good price. It is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. I stayed with my 15 year old child and the place was a free place where many parents with children come. Enjoying the river listening to the endless chirping of birds throughout the evening is a favourite of all, young and old.

The location of the place is out of this world, natural beauty, the river is so beautiful. Rooms were comfy, Apart from that the staff were really friendly. They also have many outdoor activities such as kayaking, outbound training activities, hiking, tracking, cycling, camping etc. etc.
The tents and outdoor facilities were amazing. We loved the outdoor bathroom. Wonderful swimming pools, particularly for families. Glamorous camping at its best. Helpful staff.
We loved the quiet location and surrounding countryside. The accommodation was lovely and very clean. The staff were wonderful. So kind and friendly. They organised a 7 hour safari with an amazing guide. They provided a picnic which we enjoyed in the safari park away from anyone. We would highly recommend Lakeside.
A real off grid camping experience- with some luxuries. The mosquito nets in the tent were amazing, the staff lit lamps around the campsite at night, dinner by the bomb fire was amazing food. They were also very helpful organising a driver to and from the location, helping us organise a safari etc. One night was enough- would recommend
Very nice stay with a friendly host and a warm welcome. The rooms in the bungalows are spacious, comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed a tasty "Christmas barbecue" with the family and felt at home. We can only recommend a stay in this guesthouse!
