The stay was unforgettable in everything, the place itself is heaven on earth, the food is wonderful, the beach, the dogs, the cats… and again what made everything special was the energy of the people. We will never forget them in our entire life and we are coming again to stay here and to visit them.

Nestled amidst forest and lake bordering the national park and close to the quieter Katagamuwa gate, Leopard Trails tented camp allows guests to experience the wilderness in comfortable air conditioned deluxe tents or in larger suites with plunge pools. Expert naturalists lead shared game drives, nature walks, give an introduction to stargazing, and also host guests for drinks around the campfire, before dining by candlelight! I loved my stay here! I arrived and got a yummy lunch and then was off on my first safari. I came back to a delicious outdoor candlelit meal- and everything made for me was vegan the entire stay- it was all very delicious and big portions. I loved the location as it was close to the north entrance and block 1 and it is far less busy as the other entrance, so entering Yala National Park. was easy and quick. My guide Dhanu was enthusiastic, engaging and so much fun to be on safari with. We spotted a leopard and a 4 month old cub and it was magical. I learnt so much from him too! My room was very comfortable, it had everything I needed, and I loved the plunge pool for cooling down after safaris during the day and late night with having the pool lights on. I enjoyed speaking with who I think is the manager- he has a wealth of wisdom and has great stories. His passion for nature is inspiring. If you love nature, this is the place to stay, and your gateway to Yala National Park.

Family tents are provided based on requirement. All tents are fitted with comfortable beds, mattresses and pillows. Free drinking water will be provided. All bathrooms are equipped with a Hot & Cold shower. They upgrade our stay from Big Game to Mahoora wirhout paying more. The tend was good and clean. Whe booked the stay + safary that was a nice experience. Wonderfull staff, Travis and the safary man treated us so kindly.

Kalimetiya Beach Cabana, a property with a garden and a terrace, is situated in Hungama, 400 metres from Gurupokuna Beach, 35 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole, as well as 50 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. Located around 22 km from Tangalle Lagoon, the campground is also 23 km away from Mulkirigala Rock Monastery. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Kalametiya Beach is 100 metres away. Very friendly and thoughtful family. We feeling myself like at home. It's truth. Seems likes arrived to a parents, which very happy, that you came. The territory is interesting, the house is simple , but there are all needed facilities. It was good sleep at night, doesn't warm. Tasty and fresh food. And of course people, everyone! Thank you!
