It was an excellent stay. The location is very convenient for exploring Nikko and the inn has amazing river views. The room was spacious, modern and very clean. The best part about our overnight stay was the owners - really warm, friendly and welcoming, gave us great information on places to see. Overall it was a highlight of our trip, much better than any hotels. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be coming back to this inn on our next trip to Japan.

Great location just next to the station, easy to get there and to get around in Nikko. Room is super simple, but very clean and everything needed. Service was excellent. I actually forgot a pair of glasses there and they were so sweet to send it to my next location in Japan. Had them 24 hours later.
The lodge is in a nice quiet wooded location. It gives you a kind of a camping outdoors feeling. The common room is great with comfy sofas and plenty tables. Staff is also very friendly and can speak Japanese and English very well . ....and definitely order the chicken Adobo when it's available. ♥️

The architecture and details were amazing. The room is cozy and even if it’s old, it’s very clean and well mantained.
Conveniently close to train stations, buses and supermarkets. But cups, glasses, plates, and bowls may not be ready. You can buy them in the supermarket. or convenience store
The free breakfast, the cheap laundry services and the room was very clean
Very clean & room comfortably designed. Modern fittings. A small boutique like hotel with minimal facilities. Free coffee at lobby area was good. We were prepared for no breakfast option so it was OK. Staff helpful in recommending eateries/restaurants. As we had a car, commuting was no problem. It was a relaxing stay.
The room is very clean and large. The staff are very friendly and helpful(provided us a lot of travel tips for us) The mini store is very convenient and the price is fair(same with normal convenience store)
