Our stay at Ammarin Bedouin Camp was fabulous! The location is beautiful and private. We loved the experience of staying in a Bedouin camp. We sat in the main Bedouin tent decorated in the traditional rugs and pillows and enjoyed tea by the fire. Afterwards they served us a fabulous dinner. The night was full of stars and eerie noises of the desert. We loved it! Breakfast is also included. If you plan to come, you can arrange with the host to be picked up in a 4x4 truck by the entrance to Petra and be driven right to the camp for a small fee (we paid 10 JD for the ride). They can also take you back in the morning. I would highly recommend this place for those who desire the experience of staying in a Bedouin camp. Our hosts were so friendly and attentive. We are thrilled to have stayed here. Side note: If you come in the winter months, bring a jacket. The desert is surprisingly cold at that time. Enjoy!

The staff were super helpful and so friendly. Jane gave advice/help with tour options before we arrived. Brook and Atef offered 5* personal, friendly service during our stay. Due to dietary concerns, we couldn't eat the prepared meals, but they graciously gave us fresh fruit and raw eggs to cook our own breakfast and allowed us to store provisions in their fridge overnight. Atef taught us how to wrap the kafiya and trusted us to choose what we liked from the gift shop and pay upon check-out. The views and vibe was so pleasant - we stayed an extra night! Grounds are super clean and pretty. Tea/campfire ceremony was special.

Best campsite I’ve ever been in my life. Nicest staff, the food was absolutely delicious, everything tidy and clean and impressive tents. I’m very happy to have spent two nights in there. Petra back entrance is just across the street, amazing views all the time. The host went out of his way to accommodate us and to help us to plan activities
Brand new hotel. Very clean throughout. Really helpful and receptive owners. Continental breakfast included. Incredibly thoughtful in allowing us to check out late so we could return from Petra in the afternoon, shower, rest and change before leaving over 6 hours after our check out time. I would definitely recommend this place if staying in Petra as very fairly priced and very easy to teach the visitors centre as well as being walking distance from all the local restaurants and shops.
Samer was very attentive and responsive. Excellent place, very clean
Everything! Very clean very modern room, lounge, bathrooms, excellent customer service, great breakfast
The hosts Mona and Faisal were amazing, they were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I loved that the guest house is located in Um Sayhoun, city where beduins live so you could really experience the culture and way of life.
Very good breakfast plenty to choose from. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Everything very clean. Excellent location for entrance to Petra Busses and restaurants within a few minutes walking . Great roof top pool and jacuzzi to cool off .
Amazing location to stay! Tents are well maintained, clean and comfortable. Food was good and staff was very friendly. It was nicely secluded with amazing walks you could to around the camp site. On Google Maps you have to go to “Dana Reserve” where they pick you up and bring you to the camp site. Was one of the great experiences in Jordan. Would definitely recommend (if you are okay with camping)
We had such a nice experience at this campsite. The personnel was very friendly and professional - especially Hashim and Muhammed at the front desk. The tent was clean and comfortable. The common areas in the campsite were very well maintained and very clean. The traditional Bedouin music was performed every evening, which we enjoyed. Thank you for everything! We will recommend this campsite to our friends!
The place is located in a very beautiful spot with panoramic views to the valley and mountains. The host is very welcoming ! The camp itself is new, rooms fresh and spacious, we had a deluxe with bathroom and wonderful view from the door, it was definitely not camping, but glamping. There also is a common seating area with panoramas, great for evening talks, teas and everything. Great dinner and wonderful breakfast at the restaurant, all traditional products and dishes!
