That's some special place; to be in the national park at the feet of Vesuvius is not some everyday opportunity. Alessandro is a great guy, just perfect to host such a place with his approachable way of being and enthusiasm (and energy!) to keep things running. It's a place for experiencing and socializing, not solely for staying overnight.

Featuring barbecue facilities, LA VOLPE DI AGROPOLI is located in Agropoli in the Campania region, 2.6 km from Lido Azzurro Beach and 50 km from Provincial Pinacotheca of Salerno. The property features inner courtyard and quiet street views, and is 700 metres from Trentova Beach. The campground provides garden views, a children's playground, and free WiFi is available. The host was extremely friendly and offered to upgrade me to a bigger room that was available. The place was very comfy, and a short walk to the beach.

Very safe, comfortable and clean place, the residents (Kaysha and Dominique) were super friendly and lovely, that made our stay even more better. I wish I had booked for more days. Salerno is 32 km from the campsite, while Positano is 46 km from the property. The nearest airport is Naples International Airport, 76 km from the property. This was the best kind of experience one could hope for, like being a guest at an Italian house, except having your own private bungalow. The property is in a quiet area under the shadow of Italian stone pines, meaning it is significantly cooler than the rest of the town. There are AC units in the bungalows but I never needed them despite 31 degrees outside. Windows have antimosquito nets, so I never had problems inside. If you'd like to use the outside terrace, however, you might want to pack a spray. There is no lack of parking. Despite no Internet promised on the booking, I was told the password, and the connection was rather robust. And the cabin was spotlessly clean on my arrival. But the best thing is the owners. They truly care about their guests. For me, they went above and beyond. They respond quickly via Booking.com app, or you can typically find them at the entrance to the property. I highly recommend Parco delle Viole.

Provincial Pinacotheca of Salerno is 14 km from Camping Lido di Salerno, while Salerno Cathedral is 15 km away. The nearest airport is Salerno - Costa d'Amalfi, 4 km from the campground, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Great staff, helpful and friendly! Extremely clean bungalow, very silent A/C, one of the best we had in Italy so far. Much space, great coffee at the bar, everything was excellent. Also directly on the beach.

With a Padi diving centre and restaurant, Villaggio Residence Nettuno is located in the bay of Marina del Cantone. It offers beachfront bungalows and caravans, with some as close as 100 metres from the beach. Beautiful place, friendly people, sea view, comfortable bed, good facilities and all for not a lot of money, what more do you need? Restaurants nearby were VERY good, Wifi was better than to be expected, and there is a scuba diving school in/next to Nettuno. Cool place will come back!
