Next to Lake Iijärvi, this camping site features accommodation in cottages with private sauna, terrace and easy access to swimming and fishing, just 35 minutes’ drive from Kajaani and 2 km from Ristijärvi. Really nice place! A clean cottage with a hot sauna next to the beach. You are able to go to the lake after sauna. Also there is a nice fireplace in the cottage. Wow! Amazing fireplace in the site for grilling, with a panoramic view (as it is eclosed by glass walls). Modern and minimal; Finnish style! All this aside, how kind and lovely the manager is.
Suomussalmi
Finn Camping Kangasjoki is located 11 kilometers from the center of Suomussalmi and offers free parking and cottages with either private or shared bathroom facilities.

the property was very clean and you find everything you many need!
Good breakfast. Great choice of preserves and breads, sometimes short of sausages, no bananas and Karjalanpiirakka - typical Finnish rice cake to be eaten with egg butter. Electric and wood saunas on the beach. Very well kept.
the surroundings were completely magical, perfect spot! the cabin had a small kitchen and all utensils needed, and a bathroom with shower. very clean and fresh! we really loved our stay here

Camping is in a very beautiful location right next to a lake. Also hiking trail on the bank Comfortable cottage - all the basic needs covered. Clean toilet/shower.
