Although you would probably need a car if you wanted to see most of the island, we found plenty within our reach (we hired bikes from the property, and nearby Liiva is well connected by bus). Maret was a very kind and helpful host.

Free WiFi is provided. Fantastic family-run camping ground! Greatly planned out space, everyone has a little privacy but also a lot of communal spaces like hammocks, picnic tables, playground, trampoline, ping pong table. You can find everything you need and more. It's extremely clean and very comfortable even on colder nights. The family is super sweet and will not only accommodate with anything needed but also are open to spend time together and chat :) definitely coming back!

Located in Orissaare, within 39 km of Kaali crater, Sunset Bungalow offers accommodation with air conditioning. This campground features a garden, a terrace, as well as a bar. Parking on-site is available and the campground also provides bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. It was excellent stay for a couple, we also had our pet with us. We liked the bungalow, very tidy and host was very friendly.

Guests at the campground will be able to enjoy activities in and around Liiva, like hiking. Barbecue facilities are provided at the campground, and guests can also relax in the garden or go on a picnic in the picnic area. Location and the nostalgic touch on the accommodation. Nice little terrace with everything you would need. Sauna, outdoor pool, possibility to rent SUP biards and enjoy sunset at sea.

Offering a garden and garden view, Niidupuu Camping is situated in Mändjala, 2.2 km from Mändjala Rand and 29 km from Kaali crater. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the campground's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Very quiet and comfy place to stay, the propery had everything you needed and hosts were friendly. Our puppy loved the yard to run around. :)

Located in Suure-Rootsi, Ula-Hansu talu offers beachfront accommodation 23 km from Kaali crater and provides various facilities, such as a garden and barbecue facilities. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the campground free of charge. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk and a shared kitchen for guests. A very beautiful location near Kuressaare. The house was clean and the bed was very comfortable (2 persons can sleep in the bottom bunk). The house also had all the required things for a comfortable stay, i.e. a fridge, table with chairs and lighting. There is also a grill and kitchen nearby, so you can enjoy a barbeque with any food that you bring. It was possible to park the car beside the house itself, which is welcoming. The camping also has a separate house where you have a sink, shower and sauna. The camping also features a dry toilet in walking distance, which may be a negative for some, but was okay for us. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The camping is located abou 15km away from Kuressaare, so it's an ideal spot to get away from the ruckus of the city, enjoy the nature and expolore Saaremaa itself. The nearest stores are in Kuressaare, so I would reccommend shopping there beforehand.

The campground also includes 1 bathroom. The property has an outdoor dining area. Very cozy and calm place. There are a woden cabines and nextdoor is horses parkour. Very warm blankets! There was everything you needed. Kitchen and shower with hot water.
