Staff was exceptional, we were able to have an early check in. It is a small space but affordable and very close to the beach and Lincoln Rd. Very clean and comfortable beds, it is not soundproof but I have stayed in other places in the area and they are all the same, I believe that the staff is the hotel's greatest asset, they really go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable.
grocery store, pharmacy and convenience stores, and breakfast restos, are at one block or two away, near south beach, superbe beach spot, near Ocean Drive, bus stops on the corner, and the free Trolley 2 blocks away, fantastic
Everything was perfect! It was very clean, the pool was great, the beach was amazing (with the possibility to get a chair for free at the beach, which we loved), the breakfast (not included) was great! It wasn’t loud at all (as others wrote in the ratings). We loved the hotel!
The location of the hotel is unbeatable in south beach. Other side of the street is the beach and there are lots of restaurants, shops and cafes around. The hotel also has its own cafe and restaurant. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The air condition and wifi were working perfect. Bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful particularly the girls at the reception were very welcoming. I’m very satisfied with my stay and highly recommend the hotel.

The Apartment was close to north beach Miami which could be reached within 5 minutes. A Publix was reachable with a short drive. It was a safe district and we always felt secure. All beach equipment as sun umbrella, beach towels and beach chairs could be borrowed and were included with the price. The staff was very kind and friendly. It was very clean. The room, kitchen and bath. And there was room cleaning every day!
Avalon's location is hard to beat. Great art deco style. Very clean, well-run. Beach is just across the street, everything in Miami South Beach within walking distance. Recommended
