Great location at the foot of a big dune, while still being reachable by a normal car (no 4x4 needed). Beautiful setup with tents and little houses, very clean and spacious. The staff is amazing, would do anything for you. The food is fine, and there is enough for everyone. I liked the open roof shower, especially at night as you could see the moon and stars! The camp is more affordable in comparison with other camps in the area, but the activities have crazy prices. We ended up not booking a any acricitiy at the camp, but enjoyed the stars after the lights go off and woke up early to walk up the dune. Took us about 15min to walk all the way up for sunrise.

The hospitals of the owner is amazing. He was welcoming us and also giving a lot of information about Oman. The place is very clean and the bed so comfortable!!! Every room has a personal toilet with shower (water is cold but under the stars and so refreshing).also every room has a USB plug to recharge your mobiles. They also provide you with all the things for the bathroom as towel, dental kit, shampoo etc. there only a few tends so not too many people. Dinner and breakfast as little buffet style:simple but very tasty. I like also that the tends are on the real dunes (some others are on a flat fake site). Better if you ask them to come to pick you up outside the desert as difficult to go by yourself.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Milky Way domes! It was a unique experience, it was very clean and cozy. There were robes and snacks and extra linen. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, we had a dinner buffet (at an additional charge) and then we stayed up and they provided us with tea while we chatted under the stars. The next morning they send you a yummy breakfast to your room. My friends and I loved it and would come back again :)
