Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or rv park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-mounted tent, RV or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
Wonderful small campsite, at the foot of the fjord. The cabin was clean, cosy and had all the amenities you need for a great stay. Also nice play area for small children, washing machines and canoe rental.
The bathrooms were abive expectations. They seem freshly renovated, had music on the background 24/7 (good touch) and were very clean. This truly made the difference.
We stayed here after a hike to Preikestolen. If you have a car it is very close to the village of Tau (about 10 minutes) and not a lot more until Preikestolen.
We loved the cabin and the surroundings, it had a beach with mountains all around and it is possible to rent kayaks and even fish if you bring the gear.
It was good that, even though it was a camping, they provided bed linen and we just need to bring our own towels.
I rented a mobilheim (the smaller version). It is old style but you know what you get. Close to the water with terrace and nice view!
Bed was comfy. The mobilheim has a kettle for heating up water quickly and electricity for charging your devices. There is also a small fridge. For the rest you use the common area (also for getting water) which is very nearby.
The kitchen is well equipped with proper stove, dishes, pots. Toilets and showers are very clean.
Very nice camping location. Incredible view of the lake, very beautiful nature. The campsite was clean and very comfortable.We arrived late and they left the key in the room. We liked it very much.
Super nice camping spot next to the lake, very clean and we'll equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend this spot and very close to the Preikestollen hike!
