Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or rv park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-mounted tent, RV or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
We were travelling for two weeks in a campervan and really needed a day to recover and sleep well. Very happy we booked this hotel! Since this Onsen had the best facilities!
After using the onsen (indoor and outdoor + sauna) we could was our clothes, use the massage chairs for free, eat icecream after the onsen. Also the beds are a 10/10
The property was very authentic, with traditional decor and fittings. It was very clean and close to the famous Douyoga Onsen - but we needed to buy tickets in advance which was extremely difficult and we were not advised of this
The atmosphere and vibe was very clean and kinda Nordic. Wooden floors! Room was very roomy, almost decadently so. One of the fanciest hotels I've been in terms of general atmosphere.
The location of the hotel was great. Right next to the castle so we could get stuck straight into our adventure. The facilities were very clean and felt very new (as of 2024)
The hotel was very clean, very comfortable and gave us a real taste of traditional Japanese hotels. We loved visiting the onsen and using the free foot massagers with the free sake and snacks!
The location is fabulous, so close to the castle, gardens, great food, and convenience stores. The room was large and comfortable, quiet, and the breakfast was very good. There was an amazing indian restaurant opposite with a yellow door, with the best and most nuanced Indian food I've had anywhere i the world. Great value, we'd stay again.
A bit of a walk to the main shopping district (~10-15min) but for the price it was still pretty manageable. Convenience store is just a few units down the road.
Relatively spacious for Japan standards and very clean.
Liked that you can self-service to more pillows and other amenities (including air purifier machines) in the laundry room too.
Very friendly host, excellent location to beach, with a quiet neighbourhood. Close to convenience stores and supermarket.
