What a cool experience to sleep in a hut on the shelter property. We saw bulls and cows, but no horses, probably because they were in more shady spots at the other side of the huuuuge field. It looked lovely and had a beautiful view over the Balaton hills.
The volunteers are super friendly and she made us breakfast in the morning. Egg, a piece of toast and some vegetables for a pay-what-you-want price. Simple, but easy to support the non-profit a bit more.
Easy upgrades to the hut would be some hooks or a shelve to hang (wet) stuff on, so they can dry after swimming in the lake.

Lovely location, close to the beach, very nice staff, cool swimming pool.
Enjoy the great outdoors at a campground or rv park. Sleep under the stars in a cabin or bungalow, pre-mounted tent, RV or caravan. Communal kitchens, bathrooms and recreational facilities are available, and most campsites will have a reception desk.
It was super equipped and clean. The whole apartment is friendly, has it’s own garden with a small playground and they think about your comfort. Cherry on top, it’s really close to the free beach.
Amazing and kind owners. They took excellent care of us and nothing was a problem. Parking is right next to the apartments and you can spend the whole day just by the pool (28-32 degrees), playing football, basketball, ping pong, board games or maybe just a glass of wine.
The beach is about a 15-minute walk past the shop, pastry shop and restaurants.
The rooms are clean, air-conditioned, the Internet is fast.
We spent a pleasant vacation here.
Once again I emphasize the excellent attitude of the owners who speak many languages.
We really enjoyed that the accomodation has a private beach. The jacuzzi in the garden is great advantage as well. The staff was really helpful and kind during our whole stay.
This Camping has a great location with an own beach area. I was there with friends and we rented out only a place or parcel for our tent. The Staff was very friendly & helpful. And the bathroom was cleaned at least 2 times/ a day. Overall we had a quite good experience there. We would go back again.
We had a wonderful time in Platanus Panzio. The room was very clean and spacious, while the beach (which is the biggest free one in Balaton) was only a few hundreds meters away from the entrance. In the garden we had a grill during the night and played some ping-pong. If you are looking for more "action" for the night Siofok is only 1 station away by train, or ~30 mins by bike.
It was very well equipped and very clean. Nice neighbourhood and free beach nearby. The manager was very flexible and we were able to check in earlier :)
