The room was recently renovated and modernised, very clean with a comfortable bed and a good shower. Everything in the room was brand new.
Great location overlooking the bay and only a short walk to the beach. The reception staff were very friendly and saved our bags behind reception until we could check in as we arrived early in the morning.
There was nothing at all to complain about. I would definitely stay here again
Lovely stay at the Wheeldale this weekend. Very clean & staff friendly & accommodating. Location was perfect for beach & local attractions. Breakfast good quality although not a lot of choice.
Gorgeous stay at Penny Farthing. Place was bigger than expected, every room was beautifully decorated and look newly refurbished. It was very clean and there were some thoughtful details included - milk sachets! Cushions for the outside chairs. Cleaning bits and new toilet rolls. Bathrooms were perfect. Really close to the centre so was great to explore Whitby and surrounding beaches.
Loved our short stay here, and will certainly return again. The location is delightful - tucked away from the bustle of the coast, but a lovely walk to the beach, and close to Whitby.
The building is lovely, set in its own riverside garden, and rooms are well decorated and very clean.

Lovely comfortable house, had 5 beds which was great for our family of 6. Very clean, well equipped kitchen. Brilliant location for town and beach. Parking vouchers were available for us which was very useful-thank you.
