Dyfed 23, hotel in Tal-y-llyn

Situated in Borth, Dyfed 23 provides accommodation with a heated pool. It is set 6.9 km from Clarach Bay and features full-day security.

The caravan felt cosy and the beds and settee were comfortable. It had some nice touches such as tea, coffee and washing up products. The caravan is in a quiet part and was easy to get to. I have given the cleanses a low score because there are marks up the wall, windows etc however the cleaner that does the beds, kitchen and bathroom did a good job it was the upkeep of the caravan that let the cleanness down making it not look clean.

The location was great. It was secluded in a field on a farm. We had no signal whilst there which was really nice to be able to switch off. (We did download a film or two before arriving). The views from the room and hot tub were brilliant.

Our room overlooking the lake was wonderful. Very clean and the bed was soooo comfortable. There were sachets to make hot chocolate in the room - great for me because I do not drink tea or coffee. Breakfast was excellent (more hot chocolate too). Plenty of parking. Helpful staff. Beautifully kept mature gardens.

The location of this hotel is just stunning. They are in the middle of the mountains next to a beautiful lake. In the morning, if you have your coffee next to the lake, you can only hear the birds, feel the fresh air, and enjoy nature. Moreover, the staff is lovely and the rooms were very clean and beautiful. Made me feel like I was in a room from the Hobbit, but 2024 version 😂 The food was also great, so I really recommend this hotel.

Beautiful views of the lake and mountains. rooms very clean and the beds are comfy. Ryan that was working on the bar was very friendly and knowledgeable. There was a young man on reception when we arrived and then in the restaurant in the morning didn't get his name but was wearing round black glasses who was very friendly and helpful. The food is always very good but our lamb dish was very over seasoned this time, but always great food presented very well.
