Cannot recommend Pua Vaenga more! Bea was a wonderful host, she picked us up from the airport with beautiful flower necklaces. She was amazing from start to finish- was always there when we needed, and took us on an excellent (and really reasonably priced) tour! We learned so much about the Island and it's history, and also got an included beach trip. The hostel itself is lovely, the beds are super comfy and it's kept spotlessly clean. Beautiful location (nicer than in the village). Very clean and convenient apartment, with nice veranda. Quality of the house better than most of the others.
Very interesting and informative tours of the village with Christophe, the landlord and the guide at the same time. These are not big group tours: we were just 2 of us, max could be 4.
The breakfast chef at this hotel was talented. The breakfast was a 10/10. Hotel is only 2 years old, it was very clean and tidy. The hotel had some very nice pieces of art.
Hey, this camping is worth value, and it is near a volcano, also good to meet people as they have no other chance than to stay in the kitchen/living room.

The social area is in a middle of a mini jungle very pretty. Convenient kitchen , barbecue.
The beautiful swimming pool is large enough to swim and to relax .
This is a quiet place and the owners will respect your privacy.

The price (about 100US$) is the good one compare to the price of many terrible hostels of the island.
Everything is clean, staff is super friendly. There are good excursion with departure from camping. Good things to rent with good price right in the camping. Big kitchen. I had my own tent (green on photo). It was raining 2 days in a row. But all tents (my and locals) are dry inside
