I had a great time in the desert and enjoyed to talk to Rashid about everything and anything. I recommend with all my heart, ifnyou want to enjoy the silence and also learn more about the nice people of Oman.

Said is very, very friendly, funny and helpful. We also did the Dune Bashing, Beduine House, Camel Riding and Sunset. Very worth the price. Also dinner abs breakfast are nice. 10 points for Said and the camp 😀

Dinner was delicious and breakfast much beyond our expectations. Service was impeccable and Faiz was extremely attentive, nice and polite. He truly cares for every single guest and makes sure that you have all that you need. He even stopped to show us a couple of baby camels on our way back to town.

You can play darts at the luxury tent. Alsarmadi Desert Camp has a children's playground and a picnic area. It was our anniversary and my husband and I both agreed that it was the best choice if you are seeking exceptional service with a personalized touch and peaceful, remote surroundings. Al Faruq (not sure of the spelling) was a wonderful host and met us punctually at the pick-up point and guided us into the desert. Upon arrival, we were treated to cold grape juice, dates, and Omani coffee in a spacious reception tent. Our tent was clean and tastefully decorated. We were invited over for a lovely evening meal where we took turns making bread over the coals and finished off dinner with a delicious cinnamon tea. It is of special note that the camp is run solely by solar power, the meals were prepared in excellent fashion by the men on staff and should you choose, camels and sleds are available for recreation. For us, being situated high up on the dunes, sitting on the sands, with gorgeous views of sunset, stars, and sand as far as the eye could see, was the best!

Oman desert private camp is situated 10 km in the desert at the top of one of the highest dunes at the area.

The tented camp offers a barbecue. The location was gorgeous and the tents were spotless and so beautiful. Raouf and Juhel were the most wonderful of hosts, they made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much. They managed to perfect the balance between leaving us to enjoy the tranquility and ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and it was lovely that Faisal the manager popped in one evening to check that everything was as we wanted. It was! An absolutely magical couple of days, thank you.
