Solitaire
Featuring barbecue facilities, Namib Desert Camping2Go provides accommodation in Solitaire. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the luxury tent's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. The tent was very spacious and had all the comforts of a hotel room. The view of the red cliffs was beautiful. The tents were well spaced for privacy. The BBQ was in good condition and the light from the stoep was sufficient for cooking the meat. We were delighted when bat eared foxes came after dark and next morning watched a gemsbok eating flowers from a nearby tree.
African Ambiance, earthy design, classy safari tents, garden design is amazing. Loved the African feel.
Great safari camp setting in residential urban environment
Solitaire Desert Farm is truly a special place. Turning away from the main gravel road to the lodge is an experience by itself: a 7km-sandy way, surrounded by wildlife, guides you to an isolated location in the middle of nature, savanna plain and hills. The rooms are big and have all basic comfort. At night, the view of the sky and stars from the room terrace are absolutely breathtaking. All of the staff are very nice, friendly and warm people. And the food is excellent, as is the setting for dinner. This is Namibia at its best !!!
Everything was perfect. The place was beautiful and mega-clean, the staff were very helpful and kind and the food at the restaurant simply delicious. We stayed in one of their fixed luxury tents and we had electric blankets as it May be quite cold at night in the winter. The bathroom was so big and crean and the shower was massive! Price-quality perfect.
We checked in Late as we had some Tyre trouble. Rudy sorted us out with a new Tyre the next morning. What an awesome Location. The tents are fully equipped and the stay in the desert was amazing.

We love the Camping2Go concept, and the tents in Namib Desert Lodge were no exception: fully equipped, amazing views, and perfect for a family wishing to camp without the hassle of setting up tents and transporting lots of gear. The staff was very friendly, and when you don't feel like braaing, the restaurant serves a nice dinner.
Habitas hotel was the reason for me to visit Namibia. Felt in love with this country and people! We enjoyed our private house and the view, safari every morning and beautiful sunset dinners. Don’t lose your chance to come here :)
This is a super location to start your journey in Namibia. Located at the picturesque hill not far from the Windhoek airport, it still gives you the feeling of living in the wilderness. We spotted peacocks, baboons and rabbits at the area! Each room is a separate house and it’s made with so much taste. Restaurant is tasty and nice, great cocktails were a surprise! Still, the best thing in this area is SUNSETS. They are totally gorgeous. Views of the mountains and rural areas are just unbeatable.
The Order for Drinks And Food are very slow and you get separate Nr. The waiters are don't find the Table with the NR..... And the advice fro. A young lady at the reception, was not friendly. And totaly misanderstanding. That was very stressful. All other staff was extremely friendly and helping. This place is for camping as well they so have tents with all comfort and very nice and clean. This place is a good stop before or at the End. From a Sightseeing Safari.
