The lodge is amazing, bed comfy and toilet and bath clean and cozy. The view from the bed is breathtaking. We had both sunny and rainy days - it didn’t matter, with a car we could easily get to town and we mainly just enjoyed overlooking Lake Como and trying the very nice and warm jacuzzi under the stars. An easy 10/10 experience.

Location is incredible, the pool area is lovely. Breakfast was nice and I had a lovely cocktail at sunset on the terrace.
The apartment was spacious and well equipped with a traditional feel. Lovely view from the verandah and windows. Felt like ‘locals’ living in Como for a few days.
Hotel is a short walk from the train station and the centre of the town, which is exactly what we wanted. The rooms, all ground floor, are nice supplying everything we needed, and we enjoyed the rooms’ own patio area with table/chairs and sun beds, which gave us a beautiful view of the garden and the lake and mountains beyond. Stunning. Nice clean pool with lots of sun beds. Lovely bright, modern breakfast restaurant which offered a good selection. Staff friendly and helpful.
Very close to the airport. In a town with places to eat. En-suite room with veranda. Very easy check in.
Highlight at the end of our vacation... Top-maintained accommodation in a super property with a fantastic view of Lake Maggiore. Centrally located, the sights are easy to reach. Plenty of parking available. Host Manuel is very accommodating and gave us lots of great tips for our stay. The restaurants in Castellvecana - especially Pizza & Basta and Sunset Bistro as well as Da Gennario - are also highly recommended.
Pool and sun beds
Comfortable and spacious all round. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Best pool we came across located right in the heart of the old town. Hot shower and great water pressure.
The hosts were very charming, friendly and helpful. The accomodation is exceptional - a 16th century house successfully converted to embrace modern oak with original stonework. Stunning. Great facilities in the room, a communal kitchen and veranda. The breakfast was fantastic- I enjoyed 6 different fresh fruits alongside my cereal, toast and yogurt! It was a 15 minute walk to Gargagno's restaurants.
The view was fantastic, there's a balcony wrapping around three sides of the house, providing a view of both sunrise and sunset. You can also sit in the garden which is equipped with several garden chairs and sun beds. The host/owner Roberto was friendly and accommodating. He picked us up at the train station when we arrived, and dropped us off at the ferry station when we left. Castello di Vezio is visible from the house, and about a seven minute walk away. They serve a great lunch with panini and salad.
Breakfast was lovely and served in Covid circumstances excellently and efficiently. All staff friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel excellent. Wonderful to have the sun beds on the verandah. Everything was organised very well from the car park at the start to the end of our stay.
