Wonderfully designed and outfitted. The yurt was amazing. Rick (the host) was very friendly and super helpful. The yurt had all the amenities needed. The shared washroom was immaculate and very well equipped. The workmanship for both the yurt and the washroom was also amazing. So many exceptional details.
I would highly recommend a stay here.

The most unique and wonderful stay that we had in Iceland! We stayed for 1 night and had real luck that it was available. The yurt is mega cozy, romantic, warm and comfortable. It has everything you might need (contrary to one might think when you see a "tent"). The hosts live nearby and are so welcoming and kind, we're ever so grateful.

The location, despite being far from everything, conveys great tranquility. It was beautiful to see the sunset in this peaceful place. It is about 20 minutes from Vík í Mýrdal. Simple but pleasant breakfast. Friendliness of the staff. Comfortable beds. Bathrooms and kitchen, despite being shared, were very well cleaned and in good condition.
Beautiful Guesthouses with wonderful view close to the ringroad, but far enough to find the perfect icelandic silence. We arrived in the evening end of April and experienced the best sunset of our whole two week trip. Our house was perfectly clean and we had everything we needed.
The Barn is really a nice place. The room is very nice and modern. You can see the sunset. The common area of the place has a nice bar and the kitchen area in good standard and practical with a view to the sea. Tea and coffee available in the room, which is really nice.
Such a lovely place. The room and kitchen are spotlessly clean. Einar and Ragga took the time to show us their sheep and horses. Their three dogs are so cute and friendly. We spent the evening playing with them while watching the sunset.
Had both breakfast and dinner. Both very good, especially the desert selection tray.

We arrived at sunset and it was amazing. The view leaves you speechless, the room is very spacious and clean. It was a truly magical stay.
The whole concept of 360 deg view, of the sunset, the sunrise and the Northern Lights.
The property is lovely with friendly staff and very helpful and polite. Food was lovely and very accommodating of our fussy child. Beautiful setting next to a river and gorgeous sunset.
