Luxury, comfortable, cosy, dog friendly and reasonably priced… ticks every box. Stayed two nights for my boys 2nd birthday and it was exactly what we wanted. The owners have thought about every little detail, even to a box of blankets to sit outside in all weathers like we did just listening to the rain. The kids and the dog loved exploring through the pine trees. We loved everything about this stay… great, friendly owners too.

Amazing view and location. They had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay, excellent facilities for cooking on the fire. We were very lucky with the weather but I'm sure it would have even been lovely in the rain! We loved the homemade jams and apple juice and there were many helpful items avaliable in the hut including an OS map of the nearby area. Wonderful hosts including Bundle!

Location, especially spar facilities along with desert menu.
The room was spacious with a clean & comfortable bed.A lovely big en-suite with hot shower & toiletries.A fridge with fresh milk in room was an added bonus as well as snacks to compensate for breakfast.
Lovely location near the canal, nice walks nearby, lots of interesting wildlife around. Comfortable clean properly with plenty of space, well equipped.

Christine told us where to get the keys from which very easy. What a beautiful converted barn the views are just beautiful peaceful. All you see is the wildlife hear the birds singing. You are in the middle of no where but just 10 mins from Monmouth town. Kitchen is full equipped although could do with some new frying pans and sharp knives. We really didn't want to leave
The staff on check in were excellent. So accommodating and welcoming. Lovely hot shower. Really nice food and great value for money.

The location is stunning, the views from the windows especially sunset. Very equipt for an enjoyable stay plus love the freedom of the key safe into your cottage and the code for the gate for access. Louise popped her head in to say hello which was lovely.
The room we had in the village was very comfortable. The view over the lake from our veranda was wonderful with the swans and ducks and other birds and wildlife. The setting and surroundings were fabulous.
