The location was fantastic with the red dunes in front of all property, the villas, the bar, the breakfast / dinner room. Driving to the property was great experience - came in the sundowner. The breakfast and evening buffet - high quality food. Fresh food, excellent barbacue, salads, and their home-made ice cream. Good service by people who worked at the property. Friendly bartenders. Extraordinary sundowner with the guide from Desert Grace - our guide was highly skilled on the animals, friendly and chill person.

The rooms lookout onto the desert plains with window walls for excellent viewing of the wildlife (if you’re lucky). Rooms were very clean and had no annoying lights from appliances - a lovely change! If you opt for the dinner then you are able to watch the most spectacular sunset. Excellent variety of food for vegetarians and delicious! Extremely friendly staff. A short drive to the petrol station and convenience store to stock up on snacks for the rest of your road trip.

The location was wonderful, in the middle of nowhere, with a view on the mountains and sunset ! The infinity pool with Oryx and warthog was amazing ! The room was very quiet and spacious. A very good service, kindness of the staff and the FOOD, even if it was a buffet, everything was tasteful and delicious (thanks to the chef). We had the chance to visit Deadvlei, Sossuvlei, Sesriem with Lans, a private tour that left us speechless, good explications about nature, animals, sand, the dunes and the desert ! Thanks a lot :)

Solitaire Desert Farm is truly a special place. Turning away from the main gravel road to the lodge is an experience by itself: a 7km-sandy way, surrounded by wildlife, guides you to an isolated location in the middle of nature, savanna plain and hills. The rooms are big and have all basic comfort. At night, the view of the sky and stars from the room terrace are absolutely breathtaking. All of the staff are very nice, friendly and warm people. And the food is excellent, as is the setting for dinner. This is Namibia at its best !!!

Beautiful setting on a rocky outcrop overlooking the desert, which makes for stunning sunsets. The dinner was also very good. Kai (the manager) had lots of good advice for us and was incredibly patient as we kept changing our minds and asking endless questions!

We love the Camping2Go concept, and the tents in Namib Desert Lodge were no exception: fully equipped, amazing views, and perfect for a family wishing to camp without the hassle of setting up tents and transporting lots of gear. The staff was very friendly, and when you don't feel like braaing, the restaurant serves a nice dinner.

Agama lodge is relatively new. It is located in the desert and open surrounding where you can watch the sun coming up from behind the mountains and see the excellent sunset. It has great facilities, very good food and very friendly staff. We stayed in an executive room, worth it, spacious with an outside terrace and rooftop. The standard rooms are smaller, but also great, I think. All have much privacy. We went for a trip to Sossusvlei with the lodge, and the guide was very nice and knowledgeable. All in all, our stay was really great.
