For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
One of our favourite hostels in 9 months of travelling! The decor is really nice and the bedrooms are comfortable. The shared toilets and showers were really clean, modern, and quiet. The breakfast was amazing - fruit, yoghurt, cereal & chilaquiles. There was a roof garden with comfortable seats and hammocks. The hostel was close to the main square in a busy central area.
We chose this location for its proximity to places like the Zocalo, Bellas Artes. Among all the hotels and AirBnbs that I used during my one-week trip to Mexico. This hotel had the best hot shower.
The location is amazing. Right next to the parc with endless coffee shops and restaurants. Really safe and great atmosphere in the neighbourhood. The rooftop pool and the facilities, like gym and rooftop communal area, are great and well maintained. Only a few sun beds though.
Hosts communication excellent. Door system easy to use. Safety excellent with guard on front door 24hours. Lift always functioning quickly.
Remarkable views of Mexico City, Ajusco when smog free, Chapultepec etc. We had great sunset and a Birds Eye view of the road intersection below - that is part of life in CDMX. Locally great authentic Mexican cafes with sopes and more plus best fresh juices. Supermarket only 2 blocks away.
This place was perfect. Location is fabulous, staff super helpful and the room was just what we needed. Hot showers, clean facilities, comfy bed and a coffee maker- what more do you need? Thank you.
Q the old fashioned atmosphere, the high ceilings, the architecture,..the restaurant on the premises being open all day..the perfect location..the very helpful staff..I wish I could have stayed longer.
The hotel ,like the area around is a reminder of better times, sadly the centre has been deserted by the wealthier residents who ve to suburbs but retains its grandeur
The rooftop is brilliant and there was a lot of seating (sun beds, chairs, hammocks) so it made it really sociable with other travellers, as well as being able to relax in the sun. The views were stunning. Really good kitchen which is beautiful to cook in as you get view over the city and it's well organised and equipped.
