For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Traditional building in the Medina with lots of charm and character but also extremely clean and well maintained. Beautiful terrace for generous and varied breakfast. You can also buy dinner, which was delicious, with an amazing sunset view of the city on the terrace. There was also a bar on the rooftop.
The Riad was beautiful, the roof was lovely and it felt like the real Morocco. How wonderful to be able to watch the sunset and hear the call for prayer. It was a lovely place to stop over on my travels and I definitely recommend it if you can find it! In the heart of the old Medina.
Excellent location. Stunning view from the balcony, sunsets every night.
Lovely atmosphere. The staff were very helpful, always smiling, and very nice. Couldn't ask for anything more. Nothing ever was a problem. Clean, comfortable beds. Breakfast was ok.
Perfect stay.
Nice, full of light apartment in Tangier medina. The host is friendly and helpful. The view over the square and the port is nice. It's right near the Corniche Merkala - the best walking street to enjoy the sunset
The decor of the property - a traditional Moroccan house especially the bathroom and toilet! Everything was super beautiful and cozy. Just the same as in the photos.
We enjoy the hammock and the outside area for chilling. There is a small pool as well however we didn’t get to use it. You got an ocean view as well.
We would love to return next time and stay for longer time!
First of all, super nice and friendly staff, they answered all of our questions, and helped us when we needed. Room was cute and comfortable with a nice view on the streets of the medina. View from the top terrasse was AMAZING, perfect for eating breakfast or watch the sunset. We got breakfast for 40 dhs which is more than fair for all the food we were served. The food was also very delicious. Location is also ideal in the center of the medina, you can walk to pretty much anything (beach, cafe, train station, restaurant…).
Dar Tanger is located in the heart of the Medina, so the view from the terrace was one of the highlights of this trip (me and my partner bought take away dinner and watched the sunset while eating). Breakfast was delicious, different sorts of breads, the Moroccan mint tea and fresh fruits. Staff was great and helpful, specially the owner (I can´t remember his name now but he speaks Arab, Spanish, English and French).
Definitley recommend Dar Tanger, great value for money!
Perfect location within the Medina. Delicious large breakfast. Decor was gorgeous, traditional house. Sunsets from terrace incredible. Staff extremely responsive and helpful.
