Lovely cabin with two big rooms in a wooded location on a hillside. We would have been happy with only one room but the owner (who spoke English) thought that was too small! There was also a veranda to sit on but it was too cold in November. There was a sink and a toilet in both rooms. There was a private bath big enough for 2 in a cabin 10m away.
The food was amazing. Really top notch cooking. Deserved a Michelin star! Don’t miss out on the food. I think it was 3,800 yen for dinner.
We liked everything. It was a wow effect! The facilities, so clean, so modern, so very well thought through, comfort beds and futon, amazing kitchen, huge veranda and a fire place on it. In the forest, quiet, no one around.

The place is just outside the main busy onsen area. It is surrounded by nice forest , rise fields and wild nature. It has 5 spa, also outdoor with beautiful, open till night. With the dark you can see nice sunset and later stars. Food is amazing, made with their products and local products.
Stuff os super nice : they picked me up, and show me places with beautiful landscape panorama!

Wonderful service and magical to see the winter lights light up on the river after sunset- even the rainy weather didn't ruin the trip- convenient location, we loved walking around, they took care of the car and even helped us arrange the transfer to our next onsen. Spoke Japanese to us slowly so we could understand and were overall incredibly kind and friendly, which made our stay memorable!
