This place was simply magical, Unlike most traditional accomodation in kyoto they accepted children. The place was full yet it was quiet and we felt like we were the only people here. Hidden up behind the quiet older part of kyoto it was magical sitting on roof terrace at night with a whiskey enjoying the views and sunset. location was amazing, staff were friendly and the room was emmaculate. slept like a log and cant rate this place high enough. Staff were amazing

Great location only a short walk from Kyoto station. Downstairs felt like a little oasis. Rooms were great and a decent size. They served deserts during the afternoon and drinks and snacks at night. There were also lots of information on different tourist attractions and how to get there in the reception area.

Very clean and beautiful house! We really like the bathtub/onsen which was a treat every night. I also like the contactless entry, check in and concierge services. Concierge was exceptional! I left my bag with my wallet and passport in a Grab taxi at 1030pm! It was only thru the help of your concierge that we are able to contact the taxi company and the driver. I got back my back with all the contents within 1 hour from when I lost it! Amazing! 👏👏

Brilliant location. Hardware and amenities are designed for maximum comfort which is optimal for exhausted travelers. Delighted to find delicate lacquered woodwork inside the room. Centrally located allowing guests to take a sunset break after day visits to shrines before heading out for nighttime activities. Shower & bath area was the main reason I chose this property, and it didn't fail us.

Rest stay is located on a quiet street, the nearest store or restaurant are about 10min walk (except for the ramen restaurant around the corner). You can walk to the Kyoto station even with luggage and there is a bus stop nearby. We couldn't use the private veranda because of the rain, but it looked very nice. Comfortable accommodation for 3-4 people.

Facilities were very clean, cozy, and simple design, perfect for a hostel-type stay. Breakfast service was convenient, simple, and tasty. The inside garden, hammocks, and location were great, further from Kyoto centre, but in a picturesque area and close to Ninnaji, Arashiyama, Ryoanji and Kinkakuji. However, it gets really silent after 10 pm, so it is perfect for those who want to relax and sleep, perfect for single travelers for short stays. Staff was friendly, you can also buy Kyoto day bus/metro pass from the reception.

Location was great. Close to a train station and 1 stop away from Kyoto Station. Room was clean and spacious. Lots of restaurant options at the hotel and a fantastic playground nearby for those with kids. Hotel has a roof terrace too where you can enjoy sunsets. Very helpful staff. Overall great stay!
