comfy bed, good room facilities, excellent internet connection, friendly staff, good parking, price not too expensive, hot shower, a feeling of security, all rooms ground level access, solid brick walls meant no neighboring rooms noises at all, parking spaces all with metal roofs keeping cars cool.
Super modern and clean hotel and room right on the beach. A perfect place to watch the stunning sunset of an evening. Pool was also great after a long day sightseeing.
The location was amazing.Easy walking distance to everything we needed on our weekend away. The view was nice, and the apartment was stunning, and Verandah made it a very pleasant stay.. Will boom again if coming to Townsville.
The view from the small verandah is amazing directly out to the ocean. The verandah is good for standing room, not so much for sitting even though there are 2 chairs out there.
There is a kitchenette with plates, cutlery etc which is handy.
The bed is quite comfortable.
I love Itara as it is surrounded by beautiful river and lots of greenery and trees. The wildlife- birds etc is amazing. We are close to the public pool and other amenities including the library and the fantastic art gallery. The cafe was excellent and reasonably priced. We went walking on the first night to find eateries and was easy to find.
Very friendly staff, very accommodating - we requested early check-in, which was granted. That was appreciated. Air conditioning was good, nice to have the bottle of cold water supplied. Fabulous hot shower.
