This is our second stay at this iconic Townsville Hotel. Once again Richard was a lovely host and we enjoyed the views from the sweeping verandas. The location is excellent and it's excellent value for money!
The property was well appointed and felt like a home away from home, the beds were super comfy and everything was easily accessible. The veranda was a delight overlooking the water and the complex was clean, tidy and felt very safe. The air con was superb and super cold!
It's all you need for a quick stay over on your trip. Staff are amazing and so welcoming. Has wifi. Beds. Hot showers with hair n body wash n hygiene kits, Kettle, toaster microwave, tea coffee sugar, extra linen and lovely warm minx blankets. Air conditioning is great.
A lovely little swimming pool if you have time to cool off.
Felt very safe... solo mum with 2 girls 12 & 11. Secure. Parking in front of our door. No scary people lol
Overall it was a well maintained property. The room was a good size to accommodate 4 adults. It was clean and we were able to have a good hot shower. Everything we wanted to see on the Strand was within walking distance.
