For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Lovely buffet breakfast, bacon sausage etc, you can also order omelettes, poached egg from the kitchen
Excellent location easy walk to Darling harbour and the opera house.
Clean rooms nice hot shower
Staff could not have been more helpful. Very accommodating, friendly. Price of accommodation was excellent. Very clean and modern room with a nice outlook over golf course. Nice pool. Close to food outlets. Lovely hot showers.
EVERYTHING! If we could give a score higher than 10, then we would. Absolutely the best accommodation we have stayed in. It was easy to communicate with Nancy. The location was a 10 minute walk to cafes, restaurants, pubs and Circular Quay. No need to hire a car. We did order an Uber but that was because it was raining and we needed to get to the Overseas Passenger Terminal for our cruise. Waterviews from verandah and main bedroom. Coffee machine, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher are available for use.
Lovely old buildings with modern hotel fit out. Lovely big verandahs with a view of Sydney Harbour. Enjoyed sunset drinks down by the water and breaky at the cafe next morning.
Easygoing atmosphere. unbelievable views if the harbour from our verandah. great breakfast and a bit of wildlife. we came across both a baby diamond python and a possum while walking back from the wharf after dinner.
Lovely views and shuttle service, Room was excellent
Seats provided out front on verandah, so we could watch wildlife. Shuttle service to Manly friendly drivers.
Bathroom looked brand new
A unique and fascinating location with million-dollar views. I loved being within a National Park, having access to the various walks and beaches, and seeing all the wildlife and the various heritage buildings and artefacts. Bush Turkeys joined us on our verandah while echidna and bandicoots wandered on our lawn. Our room was comfortable, relatively spacious, and well-provisioned. Having good access to public transport with a bus stop outside reception was also a bonus.
Beautiful views of the harbour. Room was very stylish, warm and cosy. The Boilerhouse Restaurant food was delicious and the cocktails were lovely. The sunsets from the verandah of the accommodation building was amazing. Ghost tour was quite scary and the Q Station Wander historical tour was really interesting.
