For travellers who love being in nature with an added sense of luxury. Also called glamping, tented camps provide full or limited services, while surrounded by the wilderness. Typically in permanent or semi-permanent camps, these private tents/yurts are a great way to rough it while staying glamorous.
Very clean and good value for money. All basic needs are in there. Been there for 3 nights on a holiday with family to cover see all attractions nearby. So, we were all day and back to the motel at sunset. Complimentary breakfast (coffee, juice, toast, cereals) were provided, too.
The owner is very polite and friendly. .
The cabin we stayed at was very clean and tidy.
There were blue wrens hopping around in the garden. We sat on the verandah watching them while we had a lovely cup of tea.
The quirky exterior, hot shower and the amazing restaurant. The owner was also very easy to talk to and made sure we were happy with everything. It was also in a great location. We will be back!
This was a great place to stay as we couldn’t find accommodation in Halls Gap but stayed in Stawell which is only a short drive to Halls Gap so we could do a family hike. The room was a little dated but very comfortable, we enjoyed a long hot shower at the end of the day. The staff were very pleasant.
Lovely room and you can either take offer of complimentary continental breakfast or there is a toaster in the room. While the decor is dated we did appreciate the wall heater in bathroom and the lovely hot shower for our winter visit. There was a comfy large bed with large tv and a quiet airconditioner.
We did have a problem with getting the airconditioner to turn on but it was promptly solved with a new remote control.
All parking spaces are numbered so you know which is yours to use.
The cottages are located in a quiet calm, place surrounded by bushland. You may get a visit from the local wildlife (a kangaroo or bird) on occasion. Ahh the serenity! Highly recommended.
