Southern Sky Glamping, luxury tent in Mount Tamborine

At the luxury tent each unit comes with private entrance, wardrobe, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. The units come with a kettle, while some rooms come with a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, a stovetop and kitchenware. At the luxury tent, all units come with a seating area.

The hospitality at Southern Star was lovely, it was so nice to have a mini break away in such a lovely location. We were truly able to unwind and appreciate all the offerings. I wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend this glamping experience to anyone.

    Such a beautiful and quiet location. Waking up to see the sunrise out of the front windows each morning and the birds on the front verandah was so nice. The cottages are nicely furnished and have a warm homely feel. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. We would definitely stay again.

    Breakfast was delicious and perfectly proportioned for us. The room was so warm with the help of the fireplace. We enjoyed the company of many cute and friendly birds. The sunrise and sunset views are spectacular. Staff were friendly and welcoming with a quick check in and out!

    This property is amazing! Everything about it is so perfect! You can enjoy peace, comfort and beauty of nature here. I loved terrace with the view on avocado tree and sunset/sunrise. The bath with the salt is so relaxing, towels and bathrobe are so soft and last but not least bed is extremely cosy! Real luxury!

    The property was just what we needed- quite. Dan greeted us with warm and enthusiasm. If you are looking for a place to recharge and relax this is for you. Bush walking on the property is beautiful, seeing the wildlife especially the wallabies as the name suggests, watching the sunset over the mountains. There is a pool and spa also a fire pit which we didn’t use this time but we will definitely be back.

    What an amazing place to stay! The room was great and had an incredible view over the mountains and the sunset. We were joined by a lot of the wildlife which was a great addition. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch! Kitchen was well-equipped to be able to cook our own meals. We also loved the downstairs spa bath so that you can still see the balcony view. It's a nice touch for couples!

    The stay at Avocado Sunset was excellent. Jilly & Mal, our hosts were lovely people whom welcomed us on arrival and served up the best ever breakfast the next morning. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the Safari/African themed room was also well presented. The view across the trees from the private balcony to the mountain ranges was superb. A very well presented place to stay with exceptional views.

    Dan, the host, was most welcoming. He baked us fresh bread on arrival and again 2 days later. The sunset from our verandah was spectacular. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Dan for a most pleasant stay.
