They provided complimentary muffins, scones and good coffee in the lobby area. We enjoyed the Green Island snorkelling and the glass bottom boat day trip. We liked the Kuranda Skyrail Cableway and the Kuranda train that we took back to Cairns. We enjoyed the walk along the Esplanade and watched the sunset.

Clean appartment on arrival. Comfy bed and hot shower with equipped kitchen for self-catering. God location for exploring Cairns on foot. Near to large Cole’s supermarket for self-catering. Friendly staff with welcoming touches e.g. book swap shelf and some food provisions. Pool looked clean & inviting but we didn’t have time to use it. Recommended for a city stay.

The location was within an easy walk of the market the harbour the aquarium etc. Great place for finding coffee, food and shopping. If you like wildlife there were amazing birds and bats to see from the balcony. The bed was comfortable, the facilities were great and the TV had lots of channels.

We liked our apartment's big veranda, with a table to both dine and work with, overlooking the pool. A nice place where one could stay over å period (1 week for us).

I really enjoyed staying at this hostel, might be one of my favourite ones. It’s a big hostel with a great vibe. Nice pool with sun beds, hammocks and a bar/restaurant with GOOD prices. The location was not as bad as I thought. The free shuttle bus is handy and they offer free bike hire. It’s also a gorgeous walk along the sea into the city, especially at sunset. Special shoutout to Matt at the desk who was always smiley!

It’s location. The price. The wonderful two sided veranda perfect for pre-dinner drinks at sunset and to watch the bat and bird pre-roosting flights. Also good spot for breakfast.
