She droves us into town, made us an excellent breakfast and recommended places to go. The accommodation was comfortable, very clean and just 5 minutes walk from the airport. The property is non-smoking and is located 33 km from Konanda Reef. Beautiful and relaxing, away from the main town of Port Vila but close to the Blue Lagoon and Eton Beach. Snorkelling beyond the lagoon there was plenty to see (little blue holes, coral, anemones and fish). Swimming in the lagoon was magic any time of day! The villa I stayed in was beautiful with a stunning roof top view. Perfect for sunset cocktails:). What makes this resort that much more, are the wonderful owners and friendly smiley staff…..always available to help with anything you need (tour guides, how to catch the bus, equipment hire etc).

Banana Bay Beach Club is situated in Port Vila and has a saltwater pool and garden views. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service. We really liked it here as it’s a very small Resort right on the ocean with a lovely area to swim in ( bring your reef shoes). It has a nice and personal touch and Chrissy and ‘mum’ where really nice and helped us with whatever we needed. Very friendly and helpful 🙏🏽. It’s about 40 min. out of town. We used local transport to go there and to town. Or you can rent a car but there is a price for everything. 3 nights was a good time. The beautiful location directly at the beach with some amazing snorkeling places, sunbeds for some sunbathing and kayaks definitely help to unwind and enjoy your stay. To round up your amazing day at South Pacific Memories, you will watch the most stunning sunsets on the island and enjoy your cocktail or glass of wine during happy hour. There are also free bikes you can get to explore a little bit the neighbourhood. Honeymoon beach is definitely worth a visit and on days when the Restaurant is closed, you can go to the Three Pigs (by bike) or walk to one of the resorts next door. If you walk a bit further down, you can also catch a bus to Port Vila. Last but definitely not least, I want to mention that all the staff are so lovely and Anne and Petter are just the best hosts! Bed linen is offered. Everything. This place is as good as accommodation gets. Sarah and Winnie were lovely, always available but not intrusive in any way. The location is mesmerizingly beautiful, the villa was perfect. Great kitchen set up, lovely private pool, comfy beds. Everything you could need for a great, relaxing stay. The snorkeling at your front door is world class - parrot fish in schools, lion fish, spectacular coral. So much more than I have time here to describe.

Stove tops, kettles, microwaves and refrigerators are provided as well as flat-screen TVs with pay-per-view and satellite channels. The breakfast has a good warm and cold selection that slightly varies each day (e.g. different cakes & fresh fruit). There also is an egg station. The rooms were modern and clean and you receive great room service every day. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is great. There is a free kayak rental available by the pool area.
