Everyone who works on the property is extremely kind and gracious, and helpful in anyway, you could ask for. The food prepared for all meals was delicious, and they even made us lunches for our safari. Everything was exactly as described and I cannot recommend this place enough, I hope to come back one day.

They helped us with the Safari geeps and we had an amazing experience. The drivers, were very nice and helpful, the cars were very good, the hole experience was incredible. I can't wait to go back again. ❤️

Maasai Eco Boma & Lodge - Experience Maasai Culture is situated in Makuyuni and offers barbecue facilities. This apartment features free private parking and full-day security. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We have spent a night at Maasai Eco Boma, and honestly we regret not spending more nights here. All of the usual positive comments are here: beautiful boma and surroundings,well designed rooms with comfortable beds, tasty local food, and the friendliest staff that was always ready to help and share a couple of words and smiles. But the thing that we liked most about this property is a warm story behind it. This Eco Boma is a shared project of the local Maasai community living in one of the underdeveloped areas of Tanzania, that use this property as a mean of improving quality of life and to preserve the culture of the entire Maasai community. Everything here is local produced from the surrounding farms. Moreover the community invests the profits from this Boma into the community. They have already built a school, with the goal to achieve better education for local children. Currently they are transferring the funds in the water collection systems, to fight the worsening effects of the climate change as well in the construction of the local clinic. Will definitely come back, and recommend to others!
