This is the best hostel I've been able to stay at.

Henry the very friendly manager found us the following day a room without mold smell (a problem arising from the poor drainage in the bathroom). The Thai food at the restaurant was very tasty and the staff willingly replaced the juice in breakfast with a plate of fresh fruit. They also provided us a reasonably priced transportation to the airport. Given that it was the low season -- the oppressive April hot muggy weather -- and we were a few kilometers from the nearest community, the resort was nearly empty and thus quiet. Next to the hotel is a lovely Buddhist complex, the oldest on the island.

This recently renovated aparthotel is located 500 metres from Lamai Beach and 2.6 km from Rocky's Beach. When staying at the aparthotel, guests can use private entrance. I loved my stay here. The pictures are exactly how the rooms are- spacious, comfy bed and cute outdoor seating space. Having read the comments about cleaning of the rooms, I think they have been listened to as my room was cleaned daily and done well. The pool gets loads of leaves in it from the surrounding trees but there’s a young man who spends all day cleaning this and the grounds in general. I did not (like previous people) see any frogs at the pool and saw it being cleaned regularly. There is a little bit of noise on the weekend from the night market but nothing that would stop me from staying again. The beach is walking distance, as is the night market. There’s a super cute kitten who makes an appearance every other day - please do feed her if you stay here. She’s tiny and very playful so I hope those who come after me make sure she is fed. If you stay here ( or don’t ) you have to go to paper moon for food ( it’s a 1 min walk). It’s fab. Great value and delicious. I’m working my way through the menu 😂. I 100% would stay here again.

Nice room tasty food very friendly staff especially receptionist delicious breakfast European style breakfast and asian breakfast but my favorite dishes in breakfast buffet line is asian chicken thai curry also lots of fruit’s and fresh vegetables because this resort are organic grown fruits and vegetables in their property so its very fresh and organic

Beautiful property tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast was great with impeccable service from the staff. Food from the cafe (for dinner) was equally good. It really was the perfect stay to rest and rejuvenate.
