It's a little down the road from the main town but honestly, if you can snag a spot here, I would. Just make sure to do it in advance because the spots fill up fast. I had a private room and it was very spacious with a nice balcony. I only stayed one night because I had to head back to the capital but I wish I stayed longer to see the other towns in the rutas de floras. The hostel also has a motobike shop associated with it but unfortunately, when I was there, the lady that managed them was out of town.

Also, the hotel was very helpful in assisting us to make arrangements to complete the 7 Waterfalls hike by connecting us with a local guide.

They will help you with any tours, rentals or travel plans. Alonso is always around to assist with any questions you may have if Ovi is not there. In our case, we were injured in an accident and Ovi and Daysi came and picked us up when we were released from the hospital. Not only that, there were no other taxis available, so he drove us to our next destination in Nahuizalco. They are truly amazing people, we are so grateful for their kindness and generosity..

Feels like staying at home, and the rooms are big and super comfy. Not to mention its located in the most beautiful town I've ever visited. I can comfortably say you will absolutely love your stay there. Las Casitas Hostal-Ataco is a must go in my opinion.

Location was perfect and very private, away from the noise of the road. We had good sleep and rested during our stay. Everything was very clean. The owners were excellent hosts. I will definitely come back.
