The property is around 49 km from Golf Course Vidago Palace, 49 km from Canicada Lake and 12 km from Montalegre Castle. The hotel features family rooms. Arrived super early but room was ready so let me check in. Off road parking within the grounds for motorbike and able to park at rear out of sight although it’s a quiet place, beautiful views, good breakfast and room was very spacious clean and comfortable. Staff were helpful. Nearest super market was around 11km away. Petrol station just up the road and there’s a restaurant around 1.5k or so up the road that does lunch and evening meals.

The views from the private terrace were amazing. The staff were only a message away and were quick to reply. Private parking ideal. Communal facilities were well equipped. Location was good for us as places of interest were at a reasonable distance for day trips. Perfect place to unwind ❤️
Great location, we arrived in the evening when the sun was setting over the old bridge and we just chilled in front of the window after a long trip. The building itself is small and very clean and neat, parking is available outside 18,00-9,30 free and during the day 0,60 euro/hour. Gracious hosts, we got complimentary water and coffee (Nespresso capsules). Very clean, comfortable, quiet. Very good breakfast places 100 m to the right, A Cofeitaria Mirandela. Thank you for a very comfortable stay.
In Douro Backpackers you feel that the staff has had all the experiences of backpacking themselves and turned it into the very best practice you can imagine. We felt more than welcome from the very moment we opened the door until the heartfelt goodbye. It is the perfect location to meet up with other travellers, the roofterrace and the breakfastroom are ideal spots for this purpose. We never in our whole lifes (which are pretty long, with lots of travelling) have never come across a place like this. Go there and see for yourselves!
It is an ideal location if you are looking for disconnect, which we were despite of just spending a couple of days. I definitely recommend to spend more than two days. We liked be surrounding by the nature and the quietness. Also, having the hosts around and available to explain us some of the routes was really nice! and that makes a big difference! Not to mention, the breakfast! the yogurt, the bread, butter and the marmalade were delicious and although we had some stuff, was very handy!! and the tea of course! I definitely recommend it!
Lovely staff, very clean, amazing location and excellent food.
The location is good. If you have a large group, and you're not concerned about aesthetics, and have a very small budget, then this is suitable. The terraces were a plus.
Sel service Check-in was convenient for us, as we arrived after 1am. Location is not central, but was ideal for us because we needed a place to charge our electric vehicle and the Macdonalds fast charger is just 500m away, so that was what made us stay at this apartment at first. Bed is large and confortable. We brought things to cook breakfast and found the kitchen well equipped. This place has everything you need for a short stay, and the area is very calm and quiet. Also has a parking lot free of charge. Good value for money.

Very friendly, helpful staff, all had a good sense of humour when dealing with tourists who can speak very little Portuguese. Beautiful modern design, high ceilings. Location away from the more hectic places in the Douro valley.
