The property features garden and quiet street views, and is 21 km from Represa. The guest house has family rooms. The property was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for three adults. The windows/shutters were gorgeous! The manager/staff were polite and helpful. We traveled in January, so we didn’t make use of the outdoor amenities, but would love to return in the future.

Beautiful house that has been the owners family house for generations. The house retains so many original features such as moulded plasterwork and original m ornate doors but it’s perfectly painted and very clean. We had a wonderful breakfast. To top it all off our host was so friendly and welcoming . Of all the places we have stayed in on this trip this was the one that has stood out in experiencing the real Portugal.
Beja
Offering city views, Casa Calmaria Beja is an accommodation situated in Beja, 200 metres from Carmo Church and 800 metres from Castelo de Beja. The property is around 300 metres from Beja Regional Museum, 9.1 km from Represa and 9.1 km from São Matias. The apartment has private entrance. Good continental breakfast with a pleasant short walk to the facilities. Guida was INCREDIBLE at coming to get us and showing us around, as we got a little turned around finding the place. Everything worked well for us.. AC, washer etc.. Bed was our first comfortable night sleep

Location was awesome, the Monte was exceptional, the hosts were fantastic. The very large log burner with an ample supply of logs is very handy on the colder evenings. A fantastically comfortable large sofa with loads of quality cushions. Outside living and dining space was perfection with a windbreak glazing panel which could be opened or closed (not the usual cheap roll down plastic that many use). A bread-pizza oven and BBQ, beautifully kept grounds and grass. Very large kitchen dinning area.

Very clean and tidy. Furniture, shower etc quite dated but everything worked fine. Excellent location, close to pub and restaurants. Great value for money.
We like the peaceful neighbourhood and the serene location.The size of the room was spacious for 3 people and it is very clean. Shower was very powerful and warm. Many games and books that were for adults and children to enjoy. The staffs are very friendly although we don't speak the language. Owner was friendly and she gave us information about birding in the area.

The room is very clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfortable. The instructions for arrival and self-check-in were clear. The location is good, with street parking immediately nearby. These points make the stay good value.
The apartment is in the very old city, small street, very central location. Rooms were very clean, bed was excelent (pillows as well). Host, Joana, was soo helpful! Showed us a shop and accompanied us. Wifi was excellent. Coffee machine and other amenities in the kitchen was great! Shampoo and conditioner was available - that's very comfortable!
The location was amazing. So peaceful and beautiful. The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Meals were delicious and great value for money. The hosts were extremely hospitable and made us feel most welcome. The rest of the staff were very warm and the service in all areas was excellent. We have no hesitation in recommending Vistas - Herdade do Zambujal and we are already planning to return.
Wow, what a fantastic place to stay for our trip to Beja. Really close to the castle and free parking, ideal location to explore. A beautifully restored property run by the most friendly and helpful people. Simply wonderful breakfast of the highest quality. Extremely comfortable bedroom and beds, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We'll be coming back.
