Note on how to arrive: Easily grab a local bus “collectivo” from Puno to Capachica and then take a local boat from Chifforn Port to Amantaní. Then either you walk 1+ hours or take a ride with the motorbike that are available at the port waiting (very cool experience)

They picked us up at the port by motorbike, very nice trip around the island. The room has its own bathroom and toilet with hot water and they provide a heater for the night so we were not cold at all. They prepared lunch (quinoa soup and trout with rice and vegetables), diner (chicken with rice and vegetables) and breakfast (fried egg and pancakes) for 20 soles extra per meal per person which is extremely fair given that these were one of the best meals we had during our trip, home made by Sonia with fresh organic products.

The host was friendly and nice and the house is clean and comfortable. The sunrise view over the lake from the room was breathtaking and Justa's cooking was delicious. I was also the first Thai guest here. It's about time there should be second and third and so on?
