The paneled walls, doors, and beamed ceiling are all painted a fabulous deep sage green, while the tuxedo sofa, small hassocks, and dining chairs are emerald. The effect is instant sensory immersion - old-new, elegant-simple, imposing-comfortable. The room is split between living and dining areas on one side and a huge king-plus bed on the other. Wow. What a treat. The owners were charming - easy to interact with online and very helpful with safely parking our unusual vehicle in the free, outdoor lot. There is outdoor seating, a hot tub, and a sauna, for use In warmer weather, and there are several options for dinner/drinks nearby - including one in the Michelin Guide - but we had an excellent meal at an Italian place. Highly recommended.
