Beautiful grounds, clean and inviting, chill space in hammock hut, spacious room with cute decor, as described, direct beach access, air conditioning available. Resident pet dog and kitten were sweet and adorable, gorgeous views.

I really liked the owner, his wife and all the staff. The place is clean and kitchen well equiped. Each bed in a dorm has it´s own fan and locker. Its calm place, convenient location. Loved the place.

Hostal La Tortuga Booluda, the hostel for the 'tranquilo traveler', is a friendly little hostel 3.5 blocks from the central square in Leon. Guests can enjoy the on-site self-service bar and play foosball in the colonial 'sala'. Perfect hostel and good staff. Best pancakes we had in Nica in the morning.

All rooms at the hotel are fitted with a private bathroom and bed linen. The facilities are exactly as on the pictures. It’s quite there’s free water and personally I love this type of architecture. The lady was very sweet with receiving me. She stayed up very late to make sure I could check in (i was arriving per shuttle from El Salvador). The next morning she did helped me out with a shuttle to gigante. She even saw me walking by (when I went for a walk) and took the effort the make sure I knew the hostel was here. Big family vibes, she reminded me of my grandmother. Pure gold heart. Would def recommend this place.

Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and comes with a cable TV and rustic décor. The bathrooms are private and come with shower. Room was spacious, clean and bed very comfortable. Swimming pool was refreshing and a nice place to relax. Staff were always pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent with a variety of fruits and other foods. Restaurant had the most delicious roasted chicken we’ve ever had. Add the beautiful garden in the centre courtyard and the historic nature of the place and you have a great stay.
