The entire staff was so kind and treated me and my friend like family. But the best part of this hidden gem… THE WIFI. As a digital nomad who works remote, a lot of people told me prior to my visit that the wifi is terrible in the entire town of Sayulita. It goes without saying I was nervous getting there, but let me tell you… the wifi at Ximena is FLAWLESS. Honestly, the best wifi I’ve probably had in all of Mexico. I was able to join video calls, connect consistently to my VPN, etc. all without any issues. Not to mention the rooftop is the PERFECT workspace. Seriously so impressed. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return next time I visit Sayulita!

Although we have previously travelled from Britain to this area of Mexico five times we previously stayed in all inclusive hotels and much prefer Casa Virgilios as a base as you can try local restaurants and explore more.
