Room was very clean and the whole place was well orginized :) Glad we choosed/found this place for our stay, close to safari. We will def come back next time we visit Sri Lanka :)

This place was such a great find! The family that owns the place are the nicest, most genuine people, did so much to make make our stay wonderful. We had delicious meals and village tours (amazing bird watching in the area as well as ancient temples). It was very comfortable place to stay in a beautiful part of Sri Lanka, our two children loved it too. We saw a lot of wildlife like buffalos, peacocks, mongoose, squirrels etc right from our bedroom too! We will be recommending this place to all our friends and family.

The area is popular for fishing and cycling, and bike hire is available at this 2-star hotel. Super clean, amazing and very attentive owner and staff and gorgeous view of the lake. The owner picked us up from the bus stop and showed us around the lakes. He is so knowledgeable about all the fauna and takes time to tell you about everything. We saw all kinds of birds, crocodiles, bats and the water buffalo. The owner showed us interesting places related to local culture and it was fascinating. The food and service were both exceptional. We did the safari tour and it was great but my favorite part of the trip was the Tissa tour by the hotel owner. Don’t miss it!

We were upgraded to the tree house which was a fun experience, overlooking the river. Room and hotel is very clean. Bed very comfortable. Pool is lovely and towels available poolside. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely and less expensive than in town. The hotel helped book us a safari and provided a boxed breakfast. Breakfast in the hotel was also delicious and lots of effort was made to accommodate by food intolerance. Highly recommend!

The air conditioning worked well plus a strong ceiling fan. The room was clean as well and the host provided an adapter in the room. He also welcomed us with two fresh coconut waters and on the morning of our safari at 5am he was kind enough to make us coffee. On our last day he gave us fresh watermelon slices before checking out. We were also picked up and dropped off from the bus station by the host. Very helpful and kind. Would recommend
