This was one of the best homestays I have experienced. The hosts are very friendly, and hospitality is superb. We received a very tasty homemade breakfast. The house is located very close to Matale town (about 1.5 km). The view from the balcony is amazing. Highly recommended.

The weather was a bit cool, but the wind felt amazing. We could feel the breeze and enjoy the view. The area is very pretty and awesome. We had really good meals there, which made our stay even better. The food was delicious and added to the enjoyment of our trip. It was great to have such tasty meals while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Overall, our stay was very pleasant because of the lovely weather, stunning views, and delicious food. We would love to visit again in the future.

The lodge had a beautiful and peaceful garden filled with trees, creating a serene atmosphere. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the necessary tools and appliances, including pots, pans, a gas cooker, fridge, and washing machine. The rooms were also nicely arranged and had everything we needed. The bathroom was well-maintained and clean. Overall, it was the best stay we've ever had.

An Asian breakfast is available daily at the lodge. I don't know where to begin.. I came here for 1 night to hike, stayed 3 nights and didn't do a single hike. It was too good to stay with Nero's family, volunteer there and at the pre school, share meals, meditate, go for walks, play with the kids... I have never felt more at home in Sri Lanka than here. If you go there, take your time, help around, enjoy real kindness and sharing. I can't thank you enough for my time at your place ❤️ This is a safe place to stay as a solo female traveler!

Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a water park. The hotel has family rooms. The hosts were very helpful all the time. They already tried their best so that we get the directions/catch the buses. Fortunately, we didn't get the last bus from Hunnasgiriya at 16:40, so we took a Tuk-Tuk for the local price (5000 lkr) and had the best Tuk-Tuk drive ever to Meemure. We had the hut for us, the second room was not occupied. The hut, made out of clay, was rustic but very cute and clean. We got so much and such amazing Sri Lankian food for breakfast, lunch and dinner (lunch and dinner cost extra 500 lkr per person and meal). Homegrown rice and currys, noodles, roti etc. Bathroom is an extra small room close to the hut. The two dogs of the hosts were really cute and "secured" our hut at night ;) The view on to the mountains and the small pool in front of the hut with frogs completed the great stay in Meemure. Meemure was one highlight of our trip, such beautiful nature there and great food.
