Short walk to town and markets, and tooth temple a reasonable walk, also. Nice a la carte breakfast either Sri Lankan or western. Staff were all very nice and professional.

Well located in Kandy, Villa Olde Ceylon is a recently renovated guest house, which provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and free private parking. With pool views, this accommodation offers a terrace. There is a restaurant serving American cuisine, and an outdoor dining area is available. The owners are super kind, they helped us in managing different requests. Room had a cozy balcony and the room was clean and comfortable. Delicious homemade breakfast. The swimming pool is definitely a plus. I recommend to stay at Villa Olde Ceylon, if felt like home.

Hands down the best guest house during the entire Sri Lanka trip and one of the best in my many years of solo travelling. Room - brand new, large, comfortable bed with very cozy wooden and modern decoration. Good lighting at all hours. WiFi worked perfectly- was having multiple video calls for work. Nice bathroom - plenty of hot water and most importantly has glass shields to separate from toilet. Location - can’t be any better! 3 mins walk to the best view point in Kandy, 10 mins walk to Kandy Lake. The best photos I took in Kandy were all from the terrace, being able to watch beautiful sunrise/sunset and the panoramic view of Kandy everyday. Services - the host family is superb. Homemade and nutritious breakfast every morning that introduces you to local Sri Lanken cuisine. They are extremely knowledgeable of the country in every aspect and give great tips for travelling. While always there to help, they have a lot of privacy to each guest .

The rooms are of a high standard, super cute, spotless clean, with super comfortable beds and very nice Italian showers. The view in the valley is just stunning, from the bedroom balcony to the breakfast rooftop terrace. On top of that, the owner and staff are very nice and helped us arrange a drive to the city and tickets for a traditional dance show. I would highly recommend this place in Kandy, location being just close enough to visit the city center but also a bit remote to enjoy the calm of the hills.
