Fantastic, Thoroughly recommended. Great Hospitality on arrival/very clean and comfortable apartment. Stunning views from balcony, ideally located to explore the national park. Some very nice touches includjng home made cakes left on the table and fresh flowers in the living room.

The perfect place to stay for visiting Matera! it was mine and my partners first time in Italy and we absolutely loved Hydria rooms as our first stop. The room has everything you need, lots of space and very clean. The location was ideal and the staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. Would 100% recommend to anyone staying in Matera!
Amazing place - one of the most unique rooms we’ve ever stayed in. The location was great, the room was spotlessly clean, and it has the coolest shower/ bathroom you’re ever likely to use! I can’t recommend it enough. There are some excellent restaurants nearby too. Also, for any drivers - we were a bit worried about parking beforehand but there’s free parking a short walk (around 5 mins away) but they also have a deal with a local garage if you prefer the certainty.
Really good location, and very friendly treatment even though the hosts don’t speak English, they showed us miniature Sassi for free and invited us to the Casa Grotta. Very clean apartment as well. There is a cheap bus from the main bus station going to the apartment but we only found out by accident because Google maps and the hosts do not mention it.
Just a wonderful place to stay in Matera. Ideal location very close to Sassi (old town). The breakfast was very good and the view you enjoyed was even better. Very clean and elegant. The owner and the staff was incredibly helpful and cheerful
